DELF – French Registration at Brown

The Department of French and Francophone Studies is offering the DELF at a reduced cost. The DELF exam, regardless of the chosen level (A1, A2, B1 or B2), is composed of 2 parts:

  1. Oral comprehension, written comprehension and production
  2. Oral interview

Our next DELF sessions will take place in October 2025 at the following dates:

- Part one (= épreuves collectives)

DELF A1: Monday, October 13, 2025 | in the afternoon, available upon request only (contact: stephanie_gaillard@brown.edu)

DELF A2: Monday, October 13, 2025 | 3 - 5pm (Music Room)

DELF B1: Tuesday, October 14, 2025 | 4 - 6pm (Music Room)

DELF B2: Wednesday, October 15, 2025 | 4 - 6:45pm (Library)

- Part two for all DELF levels (= épreuves individuelles)

DELF ALL levels : (day and time will be send by email)

            Saturday October 18, 2025 

All exams will take place at Rochambeau House (84 Prospect St. Providence).

We've reached the maximum capacity for our last DELF session of 2025. Therefore the system is now closed. It will reopen for our next DELF session in May 2026. Please note, our center offers only DELF exams. If you need to take the DALF, please consult this webpage.
