French and Francophone Studies

Bonjour! My name is Lily Luby and I am in my third year at Brown. I am a co-concentrator in the French and Francophone Studies and the International and Public Affairs departments. I’ve been learning French since middle school, and I am very enthusiastic to continue to discover the beauty of the language here at Brown. I will be studying abroad in Tunisia next semester, where I will study French and Arabic, but for now, I can’t wait to serve as DUG leader this semester with Elina!

Je suis concentratrice dans les Départements d’Études Françaises et Francophones et d’Affaires Internationales et Publiques. J’apprends le français depuis le collège, et je suis très enthousiaste à continuer à découvrir la beauté de la langue ici à Brown. J'étudierai à l’étranger en Tunisie le semestre prochain pour me focaliser sur le français et l'arabe, mais pour l'instant, j’ai hâte de servir comme DUG leader ce semestre avec Elina !
